"THE ABBEVILLE AIRPORT", founded in 1946, has now been re-furbished by "Air Wolf Aviation". This concerned the 2250' X 40' (lighted!) asphalt runway, and several hangars.

We would like to see an organic bakery/cafe in town, a regular farmer's market ( preferably inside those stables on beautiful "Trinity Street"), a HEALTH-food store, an independent movie- theater ( in the old post-office ), an upscale clothing and shoe store ( would be great in the "Poliakoff" building ), more art-galleries, perhaps a POTTER, a quilting/knitting/bookstore and definitely, a "Green" grocery store, with organic food and delicatessen!

As of Summer 2008, there are still quite a few potential buildings for sale on or by the town square!!! Let us support our LOCAL businesses! It is so much more FUN, and so much more PERSONAL, to shop in INDIVIDUALLY owned places!
